One pair of 9.5" cherry wood chopsticks, flame blackened and finished with food grade mineral oil. Hand-crafted in Kempton, PA. Due to the nature of handcrafted wooden products, slight variations in size and color may occur.

Care:

Wash with soap and water as needed. Re-oil occasionally with food grade mineral oil or coconut oil. Not reccomended for dishwashers.
Jonathan's Spoons

It all started the day Jonathan forgot to put a spoon in his lunch bag while working as an apprentice to a furniture maker. He took a piece of scrap wood and quickly shaped a spoon. Having majored in art and design Jonathan wanted to create something both beautiful and functional, which led him to explore working with wood. His spoons have developed over the years. Originally made of uncommon spoon woods such as lilac, plum, and honeysuckle, he has since settled on cherry wood. Cherry is a hardwood with handsome color and grain, and it's durable, smooth, and strong. Jonathan's utensils have a unique sense of balance and warmth because they are designed keeping the shape of the hand and the purpose of the utensil in mind. "Spoons" eventually grew and now the collection includes spatulas, tongs, spaghetti forks, spreaders, and more.
